The Economic Development Association of Alabama (EDAA) recognizes the importance of continuing education opportunities not only for economic development professionals, but also for community leaders who are involved in economic development. EDAA has helped pilot several educational opportunities within the state including, being influential in the creation of Auburn University’s Intensive Economic Development Training Course. Additionally, EDAA provides free economic development training sessions through the Community Leaders Training (CLT) program. Other professional development is available to EDAA members through the organization’s annual conferences and other events.
